How are Important Dates used?

Important Dates are used to help you remember upcoming events that relate to your investments. Some examples include:

  • Warrant Expirations
  • Convertible Note Maturity Dates
  • Options Void Dates

You are prompted to enter these types of dates when creating Rounds and Transactions. Once entered, they will automatically appear in the Important Dates section of your account.

You can also create your own Important Dates. For example, perhaps you want a reminder to pay a fee, attend a board meeting, or to check on the status of a company so that you can make an informed decision about whether to exercise options a year before they expire.
