What is an Exit Multiple?

An exit multiple is a way of showing return on investment. It compares the amount returned to the amount invested. For example, if you invested $50,000 and received $150,000 upon exit, your exit multiple would be 3X. Fees are not included in the Exit Multiple calculation.
