How do I record the % ownership of each investor in my fund?

To establish % ownership of each investor in a fund, go to the Investment Accounts tab of Investor Management. If you have more than one fund, be sure to select the fund to which it applies from the list of funds found at the top of the page. Enter ownership %s directly, or have Seraf calculate ownership based on recorded commitments using the button at the bottom of the table. In either case, click "Save All" to record the information entered. Please note totals must equal 100%.

Note that adjustments to % ownership can also be made from the Investor Capital tab of Fund Management by selecting the Actions button to Enter or adjust Ownership Percentages. The columns are sortable by column headers, so you can sort by % Ownership, Capital Commitment, or Capital Called to quickly access information. The % ownership figures can be used to record and allocate capital calls, distributions, management fees, and carry.
